How to replace a broken Shower head:
1. Usually the shower heads have 1/2 inch connectors.
2. Pick a shower head of your choice. Main thing to consider is: Flow Rate. It is rated in GPM (Gallons per minute). 2.5 GPM is the max.
3. Using a wrench, remove the old shower head.
4. Cleanup any old tapes/debris from the water pipe that comes from the wall.
5. Apply a new plumber's tape on the pipe.
6. Attach the new shower head, and slowly tighten the connector to the pipe. Make sure to hold the metal pipe in one hand, all the time. Reason is: if we break or displace the pipe, we will have to replace the whole thing, by breaking the wall.
